I am sure that all of you have been well informed about the ruled-interception that shouldn’t have been an interception. We saw it on the big screen, but apparently the officials in the booth couldn’t see that angle because the technology was malfunctioning; limiting them to one angle that didn’t give “clear visual evidence” that it wasn’t an interception. Social media blew up afterwards in the forms of everything from Facebook, to Twitter, to Yik Yak. After the blown delay of game call on the Ohio State field goal attempt, the conspiracy theory was almost set. Did Penn State get screwed over with this officiating? I think that the blown delay of game penalty was absurd, and the interception review was just a poor coverup. I will acknowledge that this probably is my large bias towards my school, but it is quite the coincidence that these two mishaps could be defined to be the reason Penn State lost the game.
