There is a schedule for the meals offered at all of the Dining Commons across campus, so technically you can’t eat whenever you want, but pretty close to it. There are short 2.5 hour breaks between every meal, but after 8 o’clock, there is nowhere to eat! As you well know, most college kids are awake and functioning well past that hour. The solution is Late Night at Redifer Commons (South) and Findlay/Johnston Commons (East). It means that there is a buffet style meal running from 9pm all of the way to 1am. I have made use of this luxury several times because exams fall between 6:30-7:45 very often meaning that many of the Commons are closed after the exam lets out. The menu changes every night so it isn’t the same stuff every time either. The only drawback is that Late Night is only operational Sunday through Wednesday. Still, it means that the all-nighter many of us pull Sunday night will not be food-less.
